Blackberry 8800 users should also register at geopepper.com with the same phone number before the client can be effective in getting those text alerts. i.e., it is not sufficient to just download the client.

BTW, We also have BREW and J2ME clients (tested, for example, on some VZW LG and Boost phones, respectively) and are planning on bringing out a BB 8830 version. Anyone interested can contact us via the site. However, unlike Blackberry, there is no Over-the-air download support for these phones, yet.

PS: Geopepper is actually just one of many applications enabled by the GMS geofencing platform (patent-pending algorithms that minimize the impact on your battery/nw. please see our blogs if interested).
