Nokia Labs has released the beta version of a native threaded SMS text messaging application called Conversations for Nokia S60 3rd Edition (incl FP1) mobile devices that displays your SMS history with contacts in the form of instant-messenger like conversations. The application provides an easy way for replying to messages, and to continue SMS conversations. After installation, the application will appear in your device as a shortcut in the application grid, and as a new tab in your Contacts application.

After you launch the application, it will display the total number of SMS messages per conversation with each contact in the GUI from where you can immediately reply via SMS text message.

There are two components for the software- Nokia Contacts Services Support Package [download link for S60 v3 | S60 v3 FP1] which should be installed on the device memory and the actual Conversations Beta client [download link for S60 v3 | S60 v3 FP1]
