Nokia has released a new application called Content Beamer that allows you to create and send faxes from your Nokia S60 3rd device via GPRS/3G inetrnet. Furthermore you can fax and print a wide range of document types in original format as well as e-mails and attachments to almost any mobile printer via Bluetooth or Infrared attached to your desktop computer.

Key features of Content Beamer include:

+ Content Beamer “View” function, you can display the e-mail attachment in high quality as a “remote document”, including photos and images, without having to download the document locally. The “Download” function lets you download the original document and edit it locally.

+ With Content Beamer you can send any document to a printer in original format via the Bluetooth or infrared interface or through the network. To do so, it is neither necessary to download the original document nor to have the associated application installed on your Smartphone.

+ “Print-to-Screen” function lets the desired document be displayed from the Smartphone directly on the notebook monitor. Document views displayed on the notebook can be saved and printed later at any time.

+Faxes can be sent directly from the server. . If the user wants to send a fax, he only has to enter the text on his Smartphone. Content Beamer is also suitable for receiving faxes, by sending the faxes as e-mails from a fax server to the mobile device. From there the “fax” can be printed easily and quickly to a printer

Content Beamer works only with the native e-mail client, Mail for Exchange and Nokia Intellisync.
