Squace Beta is a unique RSS and Bookmarks browser for Java J2ME mobile devices that allows you to store links to your favorite sites and services on a single homepage consisting of squares in a grid. Each square is a link to an object, e.g. a news article, weather information, RSS feed or phone number. As you move the cursor over grids, a pop-up displays content behind each square. Clicking on the heading opens the website in a new window.

You can add a square to temporary storage called the Garage that consists of two small rows at the bottom of the application for frequently used squares for easy access. You can also organize sites into one or several tabs with varying content. The active square is higlighted in orange. Finally there is a search option that helps you find content in your grid.
The application represents an innovative way to manage and browse a huge number of bookmarked and favorite websites and services from small-screen mobile devices.
