Boopsie is new location-aware mobile search application with bluetooth GPS support that assigns hotkeys to popular search portals and enables you to search-as-you-type in real-time, information on the mobile web, by typing smart incremental prefixes for multiple keywords instead of typing whole words. The results are provided dynamically as you type.

For example, if you want to lookup Thomas Alva Edison on Wikipedia, you can simply type

w tho alv edi (where w is the hotkey for Wikipedia channel)

If your device has a GPS reciever, you can choose a location aware channel by selecting the option “Search from here”. Then as you move around, items matching the input filter that you have typed in the text entry box will show up in distance order from your current position. So, if you choose the Starbucks Store Locator channel, you will see a Starbucks store that is located nearby your location. You can also get directions from your current “Search from here” location to the currently highlighted location or even make a call to the business.
