Last year, StyleTap had introduced a Palm OS emulator for Windows Mobile devices that enabled users to install and run Palm software on Pocket PCs and Smartphones. Today Styletap have announced a new emulator called StyleTap CrossPlatform for Symbian OS that will allow users to install and run applications and games meant for Palm Treo devices on Symbian OS 9.x based Nokia S60 v3, Sony Ericsson and Motorola UIQ3 devices.

StyleTap for Symbian would hopefully support the same set of features as the Windows Mobile version such as being able to install and operate Palm programs as if they were native to the Symbian platform, cut and paste text and bitmaps between applications and native Symbian applications, etc.
StyleTap for Symbian would begin shipping from the first quarter of 2008.
