OmniFormat is a free document conversion utility which allows dynamic conversion and image manipulation of over 75 file formats including HTML, DOC, XLS, WPD, PDF, XML, JPG, GIF, TIF, PNG, PCX, PPT, PS, TXT, Photo CD, FAX and MPEG from one format to another on Windows Vista and XP .

In order to convert image formats to text, OmniFormat contains an Optical Character Recognition Module that allows you to automatically convert scanned images to text when the TXT output format is selected in OmniFormat. The OCR Module will process all import formats handled by OmniFormat. It can also extract text from PDF files and be run from the command line.

Features include:

+ OmniFormat can “watch” or “monitor” a folder for image files. When images are placed into the Watch folder, they are automatically processed and deleted from source
+ Convert from and to any file format
+ Processing options include: Size, Rotation, Brightness, Saturation, Hue, Contrast.
+ Dynamically convert XML data to any supported output format including PDF.
+ HTML2PDF995 allows conversion from HTML to PDF or any format
+ OmniFormat can convert images and documents to DRM protected PDF files. It uses 128 bit RC4 encryption to restrict users from printing, copying text and images and modifying PDF files
