Visual Motion is a free visualization plug-in for Windows Media Player 10 or 11 running on Windows Vista or XP. It utilizes not only the sound input from a currently playing media but also the input from a user’s movement through any web cam. Once motion is detected, the plug-in will draw the movement directly into the visualization using motion sensing technology.

Visual Motion lets you control many aspects of the visualization including adjusting camera sensitivity, colours and patterns of the drawing, motion blur effect and switching between multiple cameras, if you have more than one.

To install Visual Motion copy the file “Visual Motion.dll” into the WMP visualization directory, under C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\Visualizations. Then open command prompt (using elevated privileges, if on Windows Vista) and register the DLL file by typing regsvr32.exe “C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\Visualizations\Visual Motion.dll”
