Mpowerplayer has released a freeware desktop based MIDP 2.0 emulator for computers that allows users to preview, play and test JAR/JAD based Java J2ME mobile games and applications on their desktop PC in a virtualized environment with full internet access from the host’s network connection.
Key highlights of Mpowerplayer include:
+ Control J2ME software and games with an on-screen keypad and navigation joystick
+ Open JAR/JAD files directly from the web while online or when offline from the computer
+ Allows internet access from PC to the applications inside the emulator
+ Extracts and displays more information about the game or application from the JAD file and clicking on the link takes you to the homepage of the developer
+ Supports any MIDP 2.0/CLDC 1.0 compatible Java software or game
+ Supports audio and sound
+ Change resolutions of the emulator’s screen between 128 X128, 176 X 208, 176 X 220 and 240 X 320
+ Enable Pixel smoothing and doubling, invert numberpad.
