Symartic ExtGPS is a freeware Java J2ME application that allows you to use your Nokia S60 3rd Edition mobile phone as an external Bluetooth GPS reciever for PC software and applications that require GPS satellite co-ordinates.
This utility can connect to any Windows Vista/XP, Mac OSX or Linux based computer/laptop and share the built-in GPS module of your S60 device with it. Therefore, you don’t need to purchase a separate GPS receiver for use with your desktop computer or while travelling with your laptop [via Mobile9]
Inxtructions to use the software are quite simple:

+ First, you need to make sure you have Bluetooth enabled on your S60 phone, start ExtGPS and accept both security dialogs (for positioning and Bluetooth connectivity).
+ Now, open Bluetooth devices from Windows Vista’s Control Panel and add your phone
+ While going through the setup wizard make sure to select Serial port (SPP) ‘Symarctic ExtGPS’ bluetooth profile
+ After the wizard completes, you will see a COM port assigned to the ExtGPS service. The GPS connection is now ready to be used. Now you just need to choose the correct port in the GPS program that you will be using

1Il work fine also with Windows Mobile.
I’ve just tested with my Nokia 6110 Navigator and Dopod C730.
At first, you must do the pairing between the 2 phone.
Then launch the application “GPS Data” on the Nokia 6110 and, when the fix is done, launch ExtGPS.
After this, you must launch you navigation program on your smartphone ed the position will be shown directly on the map without more setting.
