Indigo is an intelligent home control server with a built-in web server and client/server architecture that allows you to remotely access, control and automate daily tasks for electronic appliances at your home from another computer, mobile device or webpage. It supports PowerLinc home control interfaces and can control both INSTEON and X10 compatible appliances. Indigo also allows you to create complex home control logic without needing to understand HTML, CSS, or JavaScript programming.
Main features of Indigo for Mac OSX include:

+ Remotely control lights, fans, appliances, sprinkler systems, etc., from a variety of handheld remote controls.
+ Remotely control any appliance or light from your mobile phone by sending Indigo an email via Bluetooth or GPRS
+ Device list view allows manual control of all devices
+ Optionally define ON actions to automatically turn off devices after user defined time
+ Create delayed actions (e.g.: turn off lights after 10 minutes of no motion detected)
+ Flexible time/date action events with optional time randomizing for an at-home look
+ Accurate sunset and sunrise calculations based on longitude and latitude
+ Trigger action events based on sunset, sunrise, or any user defined variable
+ Trigger action events based on power failure detection via INSTEON / X10 Interface
+ Create unlimited sprinkler schedules.
+ Incorporate motion detectors to turn on lights or other devices, or even to detect the direction someone is walking.
+ Automatically send emails based on events, like power failure or motion detection.
+ Smart Link Syncing lets you quickly define your INSTEON devices, and makes sure Indigo knows the on / off / brightness state of all devices regardless of how they are controlled
+ Script menu for quick access and editing of all scripts
