Mobile Complete has launched an interactive web service that allows users to test and preview mobile phone models on their computer before actually making a purchase.
The service, called TryPhone, can be accessed through a web browser and contains virtual mobile phones that simulate the same exact behaviour as that of their physical counterpart. Though the virtual handsets appear larger than the actual phone models, they allow users to test-drive the mobile OS, applications, content and services as if they were on a physical hardware.
The TryPhone website features a full demo for each mobile phone listed. Users can get an overview of the cellphone they’re interested in, as well as reviews and technical specifications. They can also compare several phones at teh same time to narrow down models of their choice. Once done testing, users can then click to go directly to the manufacturer’s website to buy the handset.
As a part of the beta, only four models are currently available on the website - LG Muziq, Apple iPhone, Samsung Juke, and BlackBerry Pearl. While the interactive controls for the cellphones are not so life-like, this service is definitely a step in the right direction.

1Tryphone is okay, but check out GSMLive.ro phone simulators here: http://www.gsmlive.ro/telefoane/Apple/iPhone/simulator You can see far more of the actual phone (there are also Nokias, SonyEricssons, LGs etc), you can scroll it like the real iPhone, you can search its content!
