ParkWhiz is an intelligent service that helps car owners in United States to find, reserve, and sell parking slots in a garage from the web or mobile. Drivers can search and book monthly, hourly or airport parkings in advance from the comfort of their PC or while on the go from their cellphone.

Most listings include pricing, location, a detailed description, and a rating for evaluating the facility or space. All available parking information from a desired location can then be compared side-by-side.

Searches for parkings on ParkWhiz are time-sensitive. Therefore, a search will only show parking that is available on the day and time that you will be parking. Using the ParkWhiz search filter control, you can sort the parking results by “Distance”, “Rating”, or “Price”. Becoming a member offers additional benefits such as being able to buy and sell parkings in real-time through the ParkWhiz MarketPlace.

The most interesting part is the ParkWhiz Mobile application which is not yet available for public download. This full featured application will offer GPS location based parking information. While on the move, drivers would be able to get information on parking near destinations, including prices, specials, distance away, hours of operation, number of handicapped-driver spaces, and more, based on their current GPS location. Drivers will also have the option to reserve parking in advance of reaching their destination right from their mobile device. Spark Parking is one such partner who has already implemented this technology into their service.

Currently, users can visit ParkWhiz Mobile at parkwhiz.com from the mobile phone browser to search for parking by entering a city, state and zip code, save favorite locations on the mobile device, and map their current location and all the available parking nearby.
