AutoMsg is a free application for Java J2ME devices that allows you to scheduled and send SMS text messages at a predefined time automatically from your mobile phone such as Nokia S60, Sony Ericsson UIQ or Motorola.
To set a new auto-message, open the application, type the body of the SMS, set the delivery time and save it. At the specified time, the software will automatically launch and send the SMS.

If there is an upcoming birthday or anniversary in the near future, you can simply set in the program and almost forget about it. I say almost because due to the Symbian OS security, the software keeps prompting for permissions to send the text message. The only way to avoid it is to allow the application to run in the background and select “Allow for this Session” for all the security prompts.
