Encryption is a method of transforming plaintext information readable by anyone using an algorithm (called cipher) to make it unreadable to anyone except those have the key to it such as a password. While passwords are the common means of encrypting data, they are quite often difficult to remember.

With PixelCryptor you can use a picture or image file while encrypting files or folders. The resulting file can be decrypted on any computer, with PixelCryptor installed, only with the same image that you used the first time. hence, with this software, you protect any information on your PC by making it unreadable without needing to memorize passwords. Only, you need to ensure to safely backup or remember the original image used to encrypt the package, whether locally or on the internet.

To encrypt a file with PixelCryptor:

+ Download and install PixelCryptor.
+ Click Encode Files button.
+ Select Add Folder or Add File to add files that you want to encrypt.
+ Then choose “Click here to select an image”, and browse the picture or image file that you would like to use as the key.
+ Save the location where you’d like to store the CGP-format encrypted file.

PixelCryptor is also portable so that you can copy it to your USB flash drive and run it off any other computer. It supports both 32-bit and 64-bit systems.
