JoikuSpot Light is a freeware application that enables a Nokia S60 3rd Edition Mobile device to share it’s 3G internet connection (GPRS) wirelessly over WLAN with any compatible WLAN device such as a desktop computer, laptop or any other device such as Apple iPhone, Touch, XBox or Playstation . Multiple devices can connect to JoikuSpot in parallel and seamlessly share the same 3G internet connection. JoikuSpot acts as an internet gateway to external WLAN devices.
JoikuSpot Beta supports only HTTP & HTTPS protocols at this phase. This means that you can browse normal web pages and secure web sites, but not FTP
When you launch the JoikuSpot application, You are prompted with the option “Allow sharing your internet connection”. When you choose “Yes”, your device behaves as a Wi-Fi WLAN HotSpot that shares your smartphone’s GPRS internet connection to external devices.

You then need to choose the Internet connection that you want to share over WLAN (e.g. your mobile carrier’s default internet access point)
JoikuSpot becomes active and external devices can find it when scanning for available Wi-Fi-WLAN networks. External devices see your JoikuSpot connection as “JoikuSpot WLAN network” which they can choose to connect to the internet.
