zaTelnet has released a freeware Windows Remote Desktop /Terminal Server client called zaDesktop for non-touch screen based Windows Mobile devices that includes Windows Mobile Classic Smartphones. It requires Microsoft Compact .NET Framework 2.0 or later and works on any compatible Windows Mobile 5 or 6 Pocket PC or Smartphone, even without a stylus.

Key features of zaDesktop include:

+ Supports connections to the following host OS: Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista and 2008 (Longhorn)
+ Screen resolution suported: 640×480, 800×600 or 1024×768
+ Bits-per-pixel supported: 8 or 16 bit per pixel.
+ On Smartphones, you can select the Context menu to Double Click, Left or Right Click, Show Keyboard and perform other actions, without needing a stylus.
