Microsoft has had a bluetooth, voice-enabled search application for Windows Mobile devices for quite sometime. Now Yahoo! has introduced its own voice-activated mobile seach application for Blackberry devices called oneSearch with Voice.

Yahoo! OneSearch with Voice allows you to speak into your handset’s microphone and get relevant answers on the screen within a few seconds. Unlike traditional voice recognition systems, oneSearch with voice enables you to use your natural way of speaking to initiate a search. Just say anything you would type in the search box, and get accurate answers. You can ask for restaurant listings in your area, sports scores for your favorite team or view flight status for any airline and the answer will be returned immediately. For example, to check the flight status instantly, you can just say “United Airlines 1505.”
Yahoo! oneSearch with voice adapts to the unique aspects of your voice through a built-in feedback system. The more you use it, the smarter it gets. It also offers smart suggestions for words that sound similar, allowing you to adjust your search, quickly. You always have the option of switching between voice and keyboard entry, at anytime. And unlike IVR based services such as 411 that require you to speak with a limited vocabulary or in a structured manner, Yahoo! oneSearch with voice has no such grammar restrictions.
Yahoo! oneSeach with Voice is currently available for BlackBerry Pearl, Curve and 8800. Visit mobile.yahoo.com/voice from your mobile browser to download it.
