mConnection beta is a freeware network bandwidth monitoring application for Nokia S60 3rd Edition mobile devices. It allows you to view your current internet speed and the amount of data sent and recieved through any Access Point on your mobile phone. This program is only useful if you have a limited data connection plan from your carrier.

mConnection features include:

+ It displays an on-screen counter that actively runs on top of your mobile screen so that you don’t need to keep switching between different applications to keep track of your traffic.

+ It can monitor traffic of any access point on the phone and displays numerical download and upload speeds in real-time in a popup window that appears only when there is an active network connection.

+ It logs upload/download traffic sent and reeived and provides how much bandwidth was used.

The upcoming version will offer an option to sort data by each network connection on your mobile in a daily, weekly and monthly view. You will also be set a cost parameter and look at the charges incurred till the current date.
