MSMobiles reports that Speereo has released a freeware version of Sapie Speereo, a voice commands application for Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone devices with some artificial intelligence that lets you send emails, create contacts and reminders using speech-to-text technology. Speereo is based on a unique mathematical speech recognition algorithm that lets you speak in a natural language to your PDA and understands any type of accent or speed of speech.

Key features of Speereo include:

Speereo: Free Voice Commands App to Send Emails, Create Reminders & Contacts on Windows Mobile using Speech-to-Text

+ Voice Emails: Using Sapie, you can Send, Receive, Delete and even Record voice E-Mails by giving Speereo appropriate voice commands. For example, to send an email, startup Sapie and say: Send EMail. Then select a contact from the address book and you will see a letter template. Then, you just need to press the record button and start recording the body of the message. When you have finished recording, just press Record button again and say “Send E-Mail”. Thr message will be instantly sent to the recipient as an attached voice file.

+ Voice Reminders: To create a calendar reminder using voice, start Sapie, press the Record button and say: Remind Me. Using conversations, Sapie asks you the date, time and comments for the reminder to which you can reply with the answers, just like you’d with your personal secretary. When the day of a reminder is more important than the hour, you can choose Create New Event command. Then there is another option Create New Appointment that lets you choose the type, status and dictation comments. Speereo can also show you the list of people you may want to invite to a meeting using the Create New Meeting command.

+ Voice Contacts: You can create new contacts in your Windows Mobile address book using the “Create New Contact” command with the First and Last name, Company, Email and Phone number details.
