Intel Mash Maker is a free browser extension that allows users to easily create client-side mashups on-the-fly while browsing the web. With its advanced context-aware and inference engines, Mash Maker suggests new mashups based on the user’s areas of interest, preferences, and the environment. Mash Maker lets users combine information from a multitude of web sites.

As you browse the web, Mash Maker will suggest Mashups on its toolbar that it believes you would find useful for the current page. If you click on a mashup on the suggestion toolbar then the mashup will be applied to the page, adding additional information and visualizations to the page you are already browsing. A mashup is composed from a collection of Widgets. A widget can do a wide variety of things with a page, including visualizing the data on the page, or adding new data to the page. Each widget can see data added by other widgets, allowing one to compose a collection of widgets into a Mashup.
