Proxpro Prompt beta for Blackberry is a free GPS solution that monitors real-time traffic and calculates estimated travel time required to get to your next appointment in your smartphone’s digital calendar. Proxpro knows where you need to be, displays the fastest route to avoid congestion and tells you exactly when to leave. If there is an accident while you are travelling on your intended route, Proxpro will warn you that the travel duration will increase and show an alternative route.
Key features of Proxpro Prompt for Blackberry include:
+ get “when to leave alerts” based on a combination of real-time and predicted traffic
+ see the optimum (fastest) route avoiding congestion
+ confirm on-route you will arrive on-schedule
+ store customized locations
+ check daily commute for accidents and construction
This service is available only in United States. Proxpro is the winner of NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge award for the year 2006. Click here to download Proxpro Prompt for Blackberry 8000 series devices.

4Hi,
Can you please tell me whether this will work with at BlackBerry 8830 on the Verizon system?
Thanks.

5I have not tested specifically 8830 on Verizon. It should work very well. If you don’t have GPS activated, some functionality (checking on route you are still going to arrive on-time) will not work. However we have reports that users, without GPS, are using home/office addresses in preferences to easily determine start location. Please contact me at julianbourne “at sign” proxpro.com if you have any problems.
