FreeTones is a freeware utility for Nokia S60 3rd Edition mobile devices that allows you to assign and play random ringtones for incoming phone calls and SMS text messages. The program is fairly easy to setup. You need to manually select the list of sound files that will be assigned randomly separately for phone calls and SMS.

You can also choose a list of profiles for which FreeTones will take effect. So, for example, if you don’t enter the Silent profile in the list, FreeTones will not disturb you. You can also choose to start the software automatically after the phone is restarted/rebooted. There is also a backup and restore functionality that allows you to save the configuration settings for FreeTones in case the phone needs to be formatted.
