DupliFinder is a freeware utility for Windows XP and Vista that can compare and find duplicate images and digital photos on your computer not only by their name and size but also by their visual similarity and likeness. The application is hosted on Microsoft’s open source website, Codeplex.

To use DupliFinder, start the application, browse to the directory containing your photos and images or drag and drop the folder from Windows Explorer and hit Search. After results are displayed, select the original image from the left and duplicate from the bottom. If you wish to delete one or both of them, select the Red X under each one of those images and choose delete.
