Adobe has unleased its online Flash based productivity suite that can be run off any web browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox at Acrobat.com.
Currently, Acrobat.com features three distinctive online applications:
+ Adobe Buzzword
+ Adobe ConnectNow .
+ Acrobat.com organizer for sharing files and creating PDFs and storing files
Below is a brief description of each of the features:
Adobe Buzzword is an online word processor, perfect for writing reports, proposals, and anything else you need to access online or work on with others with a true WYSIWYG experience. Other features include collaboration with any number of authors, accessibility from anywhere, version control and change tracker, contextual comments, real-time status, role-based access control and many more.
Connect Now is an online whiteboarding, web conferencing and live meeting tool that allows remote desktop screen sharing, chat, whiteboards, VoIP, and video conferencing.
PDF Create is an online PDF converter that allows you to easily create PDF documents from your existing files in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and many other applications such as OpenOffice, StarOffice and image files
Share allows online file sharing by sending URLs instead of sending huge attachments. You can also embed documents into a wiki, blog or website.
My Files provides upto 5GB of storage space with an integrated search feature that lets you browse files by author, file type, alphabetical order, date created or last updated, or a combination of multiple filters.
