MissingSync is an award winning Mac OSX synchronization program for Windows Mobile, Palm, Blackberry and iPhone mobile devices. MarkSpace, the company behind this product, has now released a public preview of MissingSync Beta for Symbian OS platform which includes Nokia S60 3rd Edition and Sony Ericsson UIQ3.

Key features of MissingSync Beta for Symbian include:

Contacts: The Missing Sync for Symbian supports the following metadata when synching contacts between Apple’s Address Book and your mobile device: Phone numbers, email and postal addresses, groups/categories and birthdays.

Calendar: The Missing Sync for Symbian also synchronizes calendar events and tasks from iCal to your Symbian phone

Photos: The Missing Sync will download selected iPhoto albums to the Symbian device’s storage card, automatically resizing each photo to fit the screen. Photos captured and stored on the mobile phone can be imported to any folder on the Mac or into an iPhoto album.

Video encoding and mobile playback: You can drag and drop QuickTime videos onto Missing Sync, to encode and transfer them to your Symbian device for mobile playback.


MissingSync Beta for Symbian Nokia S60 and Sony Ericsson

iTunes: The program can synchronize selected iTunes playlists to the Symbian phone’s storage card for mobile listening.

Mac Sync Services support: Missing Sync uses Apple’s Sync Services technology, allowing information from other Sync Services-compatible applications, such as Chronos SOHO Organizer and Microsoft Entourage 2004/2008, to sync between your Mac and your Symbian mobile device.
