I have try it on my Nokia 3230 and Nokia 78 and am sure that once you have done the hard format on your phone, your security code will be restore to default i.e 12345, in case of Nokia phones.

make sure to backup ur data b4 dng dis

my fon light only last 5sec but lights time-out is set on 60sec,i hav tried evrythng wit the display setting but nothing,even factory reset.

hii frnds….. first of all thankk you soo much for dis HARD RESET !!!!! I resently updated ma fone os n aftr switchin it off n den on it keep restartin…. dis hard reset fixed de problem but hower….. stiill im havin problem with ma security code… i found smwer dat the security code wil be reseted to 12345….. n i had actually frgotn ma code….. stil if i enter 12345 it dosnt accept…. any help on dis ?? any way thanks for de hard reset dat im havin ma fone workin nw :)

#14, I had the same problem as you. I used PC Suite to create a backup of all my settings, did a reset like explained in this thread (#7), and restored my settings using the backup. And then my gallery was ok again.
