Palringo, a free instant messaging software, has been released for RIM OS based Blackberry Smartphones. Palringo combines text, voice and picture messaging and supports popular IM services such as Google Talk, Windows Live-MSN, ICQ, AOL-AIM and Yahoo.
Palringo presents a user’s contacts from all services into one combined, presence-aware list, eliminating the need to continually switch between multiple instantmessaging programs. Additionally, Palringo’s dynamic “vocal instant messaging” combines walkie-talkie style voice chat, the real-time text functionality of IM and the ability to share pictures, all within the context of one “threaded” discussion.
Palringo lets the user create unlimited number of groups and send a voice, text, or picture message to all group members at once. It also allows you to leave messages when contacts are not online.
To download the beta version of Palringo for Blackberry, visit www.palringo.mobi from your mobile browser.
