Google GMail has introduced a new feature called Last account activity that shows information about the latest connection attempts and recent activity in your Gmail account. This feature is helpful if your account has been compromised or you forgot to close the browser session on a public machine.
Recent activity includes any times that your webmail was accessed, using a regular web browser, through a POP/IMAP client or from a mobile device. It lists all the IP addresses from which the connection was made, as well as the time and date.
If your mail is currently being accessed from another location, it lists the other session(s) in the Concurrent session information table. You can choose to sign out all other sessions from the screen.

This feature can be accessed by clicking the Details link next to the Last account activity line at the bottom of any Gmail page.
