PowerTimer is a freeware Python based application for Nokia S60 3rd Edition mobile devices that allows you to schedule a shutdown or restart of your mobile device at a specified date and time.

To use PowerTimer, launch the application. From the Menu, choose the shutdown or restart option, then enter the date and time when you want the phone to shutdown or reboot. You can even choose to set a timer so that the mobile phone turns off or restarts after “X” number of minutes.

The program can be set to run in the background. So if you want to cancel the countdown timer, simply bring the application to the foreground and exit from it.
