Klaxon is a freeware alarm clock application for Windows Mobile devices based on motion detection and light sensor available in certain HTC phones. Koushik, a Windows Mobile developer, has updated the HTC Accelerometer SDK to allow access to the light sensor API and built a sample application based on it.
Utilising this API, Klaxon turns off the alarm when it detects light in the environment. When the alarm starts, Klaxon samples the ambient light. If the light increases beyond a certain range from that ambient light, Klaxon will shut off the alarm automatically. Also, the light sensor will only turn off your alarm if the mobile phone is facing upwards.

The G-Sensor motion detection functionality includes:
+ Flip your phone over to snooze.
+ Shake your phone to turn the alarm off.
Also, you can manually configure what you want the alarm to do when you shake it, flip it, or turn on the light.
