File Hamster provides real-time backup, archiving, and version tracking for files and folders. It is a memory-resident program that will monitor selected files and folders and invisibly create incremental backups whenever those files are modified (such as saving or overwriting them), so that you can revert to the older version(s) if need be. It also enables you to create notes on-the-fly about the changes that have been made, allowing you to quickly locate a specific revision or provide a detailed account of changes to files.
