ruBooks is a freeware eBook reader and viewer based on the original Book.app application for Apple iPhone. Books.app can be used to read Project Gutenberg ebooks, in conjunction with GutenMark, which creates HTML files text files, and splits them by chapter for easier navigation. Apaprt from TXT files, ruBooks can also view other formats such as FB2, HTML, PDF, XLS and DOC based on the Safari engine.
Key features of ruBooks for Apple iPhone include:

+ FB2 support, including support for ZIP-archive files;
+ Localization support, with English, Russian and draft German, Chinese and Japanese languages included;
+ Text search;
+ Page scrolling with volume control buttons;
+ Auto-scroll with adjustable scrolling speed;
+ Increased book loading speed;
+ Table of contents for single-file books;
+ Book cover inside the text;
+ Opening files anywhere on the file system under /var - including both home directories of users “root” and “mobile” as we as /var/root/Downloads folder
+ Color management for foreground and background in day and night-modes;
+ PDF, XLS and DOC viewer based on Safari engine.
