Slydial is a free voice messaging service that can give a missed call to any number bypassing phone ring and connects you directly to their mobile voicemail without actually talking to the recipeint. Slydial connects you directly to the voicemail of any U.S. mobile user and is not restricted to users with the same carrier or within a certain geographic location.
slydial calls cannot be answered. In most cases the person you’re slydialing simply receives a new voicemail alert within a minute or so after you leave them a voice message. With some mobile phones, Slydial is able to display a “missed call” alert from your cellphone number implying that you had tried to call them. With this feature, the recipient’s phone may emit an abbreviated “half ring” before going directly to voicemail.
You can start using Slydial by dialling 267-SLY-DIAL (267-759-3425). A point to be noted is that you will not be able to slydial someone who is using a prepaid plan. Also, calls can not be placed from phones where Caller ID is blocked.
If you sign up for a free Myslydial account, you can get the following features:
Dial by Name: Once you enter their phone number in as a slydial contact, just call the slydial phone number and enter the first four digits of their Nickname followed by the # sign and you will be connected to their mobile voicemail.
Dial from Web: Once you create your slydial contacts you can simply click on the “Click 2 slydial” icon next to the contact and you will receive a phone call.
