Dial Directions has launched Say Where, a free voice enabled application for Apple iPhone that can recognize your speech and input it as text into web sites in Safari browser. Say Where provides voice-entry to popular websites for maps and directions, traffic, local business search, reviews and other location based content.

Location can be set using iPhone’s internal location awareness capabilities or users can speak the city or place if it’s not their current location.

Say Where: Free Speech Recognition Voice Input for Websites on Apple iPhone Safari Browser

Instead of typing, iPhone users just speak any “place” such as an address, intersection, or point-of-interest and the application will show you results from their various content partners. Those partners, which include Google Maps, MapQuest, Ask.com, CitySearch, Yelp, Traffic.com, Yellow Pages, and others, provide both directions and location-based content like user reviews.

Usage is simple- you launch the Say Where App and when prompted, say an address or business name that you’re looking for. Then, you choose which service you want to use. Finally, the Safari browser is launched and search results are displayed on your screen.
