G-Map is a standalone, offline GPS Mapping & navigation Application for Apple iphone and iPod Touch, without requiring an Internet connection. Once downloaded, you can easily search your location and get directions without an internet connection, anytime, anywhere, even when you’re on the move. It also provides real 3D View of major intersections and highway junctions. A route preview function enables you to find the optimum route to destinations.
G-Map’s massive data (around 700MB) helps you find any desired location, and can also provide detailed information of the searched location such as address, latitude/longitude coordinates and phone number.
It’s also possible to enter your own personal notes or make changes to the information of the location searched, and use G-Map as a travel notebook.
Key features of G-Map for iPhone include:

- Stand-alone, offline GPS based electronic map that does not require internet connection
- Large-capacity map data enables easy search of desired location and route
- Real 3D View of intricate major intersections and highway junctions
- Smart location search powered by a search engine similar to internet search engines, using keyword search
- Detailed information on restaurants, hotels, and leisure destinations provided with Premium POI
- POI editing and memo capability for personalized POI
- Route preview provides optimal route to destination
- Search by phone number and latitude/longitude

Map coverage is currently limited to few cities in United States. Keep a watch on the homepage since G-Map is not available on App Store even though the website says so.
