Google Maps for mobile version 2.3 with Street View for Nokia S60 and Windows Mobile has been released. Street View lets you access street level imagery street level imagery of addresses, businesses, and turns in directions in major cities throughout the United States, Australia, Japan, and parts of Europe.

Besides Street View, the new version of Google Maps for mobile also has a bunch of other new features: request walking directions (in addition to driving and public transit) to get anywhere on foot, receive transit alerts from participating public transportation authorities, and see what other people think of a place by reading reviews directly on your phone.

To use, select “Street View” from the address page of a search result or just click on the map. You can also see Street View while finding directions. Once the street view image appears, you can rotate left and right by using your phone’s navigation keys or trackball. To move up and down a street, rotate the view until an indicator arrow appears, then use your phone’s up arrow key or trackball to move to the next street view image. When Street View is displayed as a bubble over the map, you can still zoom in or out on the map or switch to satellite view. To switch to full screen Street View, use “Expand”. If Street View is unavailable in a particular location, the “Street View” link won’t appear.
